Overview:
Chatham Financial's Summer Internship Program provides an engaging and hands-on opportunity for aspiring HR professionals. As a member of Chatham's People team, you'll participate in a comprehensive 10-week rotational program, gaining valuable insight into various HR functions. You’ll collaborate with the team to support day-to-day operations and contribute to projects in areas such as employee relations, talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, payroll and benefits.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the onboarding process for new employees.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Coordinate logistics for learning and development workshops.
- Maintain employee records in our HRIS system, UltiPro.
- Conduct research on best practices and trends in HR.
- Create project management processes to track progress, scheduling, timelines, communications, and deliverables for the People Team.
- Analyze and report on metrics across our HR systems (Greenhouse, HRIS/UltiPro, Thrive).
- Support the HR technology roadmap and system implementation.
- Assess and support the performance review cycles and feedback processes.
- Assist with the learning and development training, scheduling learning events and tracking impact.
- Support HR Business Partners on various strategic initiatives and projects.
- Develop and improve processes for employee performance and engagement data management.
- Assist in the organization of employee engagement activities, events and surveys to support the employee experience.
- Participate in various administrative tasks and projects as needed.

- Experience a blend of structured learning paths and hands-on apprenticeship that spans the entire summer, orienting you to Chatham and the human resources industry.
- Gain insight into your natural abilities through mid-summer self-assessments, helping you leverage your strengths beyond the internship.
Contributors to Success:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Applicants must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate academic program at the junior or senior level during the summer of 2025.
The internship will begin on June 2, 2025, and run through August 8, 2025.
