About Andrew

Andrew Brown is on Chatham’s Global Private Equity Hedging and Capital Markets team, ​running the Australian and New Zealand regions in Melbourne. He brings 20 years of experience helping clients manage derivatives risk and brings a practical problem-solving approach to every situation.

Prior to joining Chatham in 2013, Andrew led UBS’ Australian and provided strategic leadership to the Asian derivatives business. Previously, Andrew ran RBS’ European-wide derivative solutions business, and earlier worked at Barclays Capital.

Andrew has worked on complex corporate transactions (from a derivative perspective) globally, ranging from securitizations for the British Broadcasting Corp and assisting clients during Lehman bankruptcy.

Andrew has dual bachelor’s degrees in physics and engineering from Monash University, an M.BbA. with honors from Melbourne Business School, and is a CFA Charterholder.
