About Brent
Brent Whiteman is on Chatham’s Global Real Estate Hedging and Capital Markets team. This team assists commercial real estate investors with interest rate hedging analysis, structuring, and execution. During his time at Chatham, Brent has guided his clients to implement and execute hedging strategies on over 1,400 deals, spanning all real estate verticals across major and emerging market currencies. He previously served on Chatham’s Valuations team, and prior to that, was a defeasance consultant.
Prior to joining Chatham, Brent was a captain in the United States Air Force where he worked as a contracting officer for the Department of Defense’s space launch program. Brent received his bachelor's degree in management from the United States Air Force Academy and holds a Master’s in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
