About Karolina
Karolina Windys is a Director of Regulatory Advisory for Chatham’s European Real Estate, Private Equity, and Infrastructure teams where she advises clients on the impacts of global derivatives regulation. She advises private equity sponsors, real estate, infrastructure and emerging markets funds, and corporates on global derivatives regulatory regimes, including EMIR, Dodd-Frank, and MIFID II.
Karolina is also responsible for ensuring compliance with the laws, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices of Chatham’s European offices, as well as leading the implementation of Chatham’s Brexit-contingency plan.
Prior to joining Chatham, Karolina worked as a European law expert at the Polish Ministry of Health. Karolina graduated magna cum laude from the University of Wroclaw with her master’s degree in law and she earned an LLM in corporate and financial law from the University of Glasgow. She is a legal counsel admitted to practice law in Poland.
