Kristen Helwig

Kristen Helwig is a part of Chatham’s real estate hedge advisory team, where she assists public and private REITs with their risk management strategies. Her main focuses are on interest rate and foreign currency risk, and she enjoys helping clients think through their different exposures and coming up with a solution that makes sense for them. Prior to assisting REITs, Kristen spent time on Chatham’s debt management and defeasance teams, where she helped real estate clients manage their debt portfolios and advised on the prepayment of fixed-rate debt.

Kristen graduated from the University of Delaware with a bachelor’s in mathematics and economics and a minor in business administration.
