Michael Young is Chatham's Chief Product and Technology Officer. He oversees Product Development and Technology, along with the Strategy team.
Prior to Chatham, Michael was the Chief Technology Officer of Reuters News and Media, where he transformed product technology and related operations to align to Reuters customers and strategic growth objectives. Other roles in Thomson Reuters included the Global Head of the digital experience platform and Global Head of risk development.
Earlier in his career, Michael served as CTO at two companies, Paycase Financial and Architelos. He was the financial technology industry advisor for MaRS Discovery District, Vice President of product development at Afilias, and founded the technology group at GMP Securities.
Since 2016, Michael has been a volunteer mentor at Techstars in New York and Toronto chapters. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.
