About Rishin
Rishin Patel leads Chatham’s Infrastructure, Project Finance, and Renewable Energy practice in EMEA. Rishin typically manages large, complex transactions serving European clients in domestic and cross-border projects across the globe. Rishin and his team deliver best in class advisory services to infrastructure and renewables sponsors and developers, as well as public authorities for PPPs. Rishin has advised on award-winning projects for Chatham, including the UK Silvertown Tunnel PPP, Yunlin and Chang Fang & Xidao offshore wind farms in Taiwan, breaking new ground in Southeast Asia with innovative risk management solutions.
Prior to joining Chatham, Rishin led a team at RBS, now NatWest Markets, serving corporate, institutional, and financial sponsor clients. He was responsible for origination and structured derivative sales. Prior to this, Rishin spent over a decade as an investment banker serving in roles from event-driven derivatives to flow rates. Rishin holds a bachelor of science degree in economics from Queen Mary, University of London. Outside of work, he is kept busy with his two young boys and their various sporting activities. He is also a keen traveler and enjoys exploring new cultures, foods, and rare whiskeys.
